The redevelopment of the New Waterfront of Thessaloniki is a project of major importance for the city. The scope of this contract involved the construction of an independent and functionally autonomous section of the overall project—specifically, Gardens 01–08, which extend along the coastal axis from the Royal Theatre to the premises of the Nautical Club.
The project included, in detail:
- Demolition of existing structures and removal of networks and equipment
- Execution of foundation excavations and retaining works
- Construction of fencing walls, manholes, water supply and drainage networks
- Construction of fountains and small buildings
- Installation of high and low voltage networks
- Installation of electromechanical systems and automation controls
- Paving and surface cladding
- Roofing, frames, and painting
- Steel structures made of structural steel
- Installation of urban furniture and planting of trees and vegetation
