The project involves the complete reconstruction of the Administration Building of the Thessaloniki Water Supply and Sewerage Company S.A. (EYATH S.A.), with the objective of upgrading it into a modern, high-specification office building.
Based on this objective, the following works were carried out, among others:
- Complete removal and reconstruction of architectural and electromechanical elements
- Structural reinforcement of the load-bearing system
- Energy upgrade of the building in accordance with the requirements of the Hellenic Energy Performance of Buildings Regulation (KENAK). The building is now classified as Energy Class A and qualifies as a Nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB)
- Compliance with the current provisions of the Building Fire Protection Regulation
- Reconstruction of the central staircase and installation of an elevator for persons with disabilities (PWD)
- Installation of a photovoltaic system
- Installation of automation and security systems
- Construction of a green (planted) roof
