The project involved the restoration and adaptive reuse of Buildings 1, 2, and 3 of the former 401 Military Hospital complex in Athens. The buildings’ use was changed from hospital facilities to a library, historical archive, and cultural center. The scope of works included the repair of structural damage, interior reconfiguration, and the structural reinforcement of the existing load-bearing system.
