The services provided by the company focus on railroad projects. The company undertakes any type of railroad work of any magnitude of work load. Fast completion of works and high quality results are what describe the company’s construction experience on railroad projects.

Up to now, the company has participated in the construction of the largest railroad projects in Greece, either as a contractor or as a subcontractor and addresses to the entire European and African market with a goal to be awarded and then implement railroad development projects in both continents.

Other than railroad work, the company can undertake any type of projects in the Private or Public sector, such as building, hydraulic and highway projects, gained in the recent years a lot of experience in these sectors/fields.

The Company is also involved in the development and exploitation of real estate, in the establishment and exploitation of tourist facility, as well as in the development of office and commercial buildings.

The Company’s historical background began in 1993 when Mr. Antonios Kokkinos and Mr. Dimitrios Papanikolaou, both primary shareholders of the Company, began collaboration as individual contracting companies working on specialized Railroad Projects.

In 2000 a Societal anonym contracting company by the name “DIEDROS S.A.” was established and was awarded the D’ class Construction Company Certificate (can be awarded public projects of a budget not higher than 800.000 €).

In 2002, “DIEDROS S.A.” merged with “K.KAPARAKIS S.A.” in order to explore the possibility of being awarded public projects of higher budget, and the Company “K.KAPARAKIS-DIEDROS S.A.” was created and was awarded the 5th class Construction Company Certificate (can be awarded public projects of a budget not higher than 22.000.000 €).

At the same time the company “SIDIRODROMIKA ERGA S.A.” was established and was awarded 3rd class Construction Company Certificate (can be awarded public projects of a budget not higher than 3.750.000 €) and 4th class Constrution Company Certificate in 2008 (can be awarded public projects of a budget not higher than 7.500.000 €).

Following in 2008, the company “K.KAPARAKIS – DIEDROS S.A.” was successfully absorbed by “SIDIRODROMIKA ERGA S.A.” and in 2009 was awarded the 6th class Construction Company Certificate(can be awarded public projects of a budget not higher than 44.000.000 €).

The company’s headquarters are at a private owned office in Pilaia Thessaloniki. The design and financial departments of the company are accommodated there.

The company holds a secondary building in Ionia Thessaloniki, consisting of office area, warehouses and dormitories. A private garage that repairs all our railroad equipment as well as storage space and repair – assembly space for all required equipment and tools for the projects are also accommodated there.
